TTF-1 Antibody, Clone SPT24Thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) is a 38 kDa member of the NKX2 family of homeodomain transcription factors. TTF-1 is mostly detected in primary lung adenocarcinomas and small cell carcinomas. TTF-1 can be very useful in lung cancers when used in a panel with Desmoglein 3, p40 and Napsin A antibodies.Isotype: IgG1/kappa
Localization: nuclear
Positive control: lung adenocarcinoma
NordiQC: Commonly used as concentrate, also optimal/good score with RTU
GATA-3 Antibody, Clone L50-823GATA-3 (GATA binding protein 3) is a member of the GATA family of transcription factors. This 50 kDa nuclear protein regulates the development and subsequent maintenance of multiple tissues. Studies have shown GATA3 orchestrates gene expression profiles during embryogenesis of a variety of human tissues, including hematopoietic cells, skin, kidney, mammary gland, and the central nervous system. Among several other roles, GATA-3 has been identified as a key player of luminal cell differentiation in the mammary gland. GATA-3 appears to control a set of genes involved in the differentiation and proliferation of breast cancer. GATA-3 has also been shown to be a novel marker for bladder cancer.Isotype: IgG1/kappa
Localization: nuclear
Positive control: bladder cancer, breast cancer
NordiQC: For optimal/good results it is recommended to dilute GATA-3 in Van Gogh Yellow or to use RTU with an amplificator/enhancer Image: Breast cancer stained with GATA-3 (L50-823) antibody
Image: Melanoma stained with PRAME (EPR20330) AntibodyPRAME Antibody, Clone EPR20330PRAME is located on chromosome 22q11.22 and encodes a 509 amino acid protein. PRAME is an autosomal cancer-testis antigen (CTA) gene which has been shown to be expressed in melanoma, various nonmelanocytic malignant neoplasms, including non-small cell lung cancer, breast carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, leukemia, synovial sarcoma, and myxoid liposarcoma. Normal healthy tissues are not known to express PRAME except for testis, ovary, adrenals, adrenals, and endometrium.Isotype: IgG
Localization: nucleus, cell membrane
Positive control: melanoma, normal testis
NordiQC: Optimal score with PRAME RTU on Benchmark Ultra
These antibodies also come in convenient Q Series and UltraLine formats specifically developed for your Leica Bond or Ventana Benchmark system.
